Utilizing our boutique domestic finishing plant nestled in the heart of upstate New York’s famed Leatherstocking Region, Jamie Stern produces over 400 standard leathers made to order. This US-based plant also enables the creation of custom leathers for just a five hide minimum.
Complimentary strike offs take approximately a week to complete and demonstrate the precision and depth of our artisanal leather finishers’ color matching abilities. Whether looking to reduce a budget, match a discontinued product or create a wholly original color that isn’t available anywhere, Jamie Stern’s custom leather capabilities are a great resource for interior designers trying to solve a problem!
Alpen
Made in the mountains of Southern Germany, Alpen is a timeless full grain leather with a hearty semi-aniline finish. Its name is drawn from the German word meaning “of the Alps,” as embodied by the exceptional size of its hides and the prominence of its natural grain variations.
Metro II
Metro II has a tight, naturalistic grain accentuated by an elegant hand-wiped finish, resulting in a subtle two-tone effect that highlights natural variations in the leather grain and mottling. The eight colors of Metro II are neutrals and earth tones that complement a variety of design schemes from classic to contemporary.
Verona
Long a favorite of designers, the Verona collection features a supple hand, high-gloss finish and rich tonal complexity. Produced on large European hides, Verona is pure aniline-dyed and finished with a natural wax top-coat to create a sophisticated pull-up effect. Verona now includes seven eye-catching new shades such as Harbour, Valise and Cordovan, for a total of 34 colorways that range from vibrant jewel-tones to deep neutrals.
