Jamie Stern produced a diverse selection of area rugs, furniture pieces, upholstery leathers and fabrics for Upton Place, a high-end residential building just outside of Washington DC. Located in the Capitol’s suburbs between the Tenleytown and Mclean Gardens neighborhoods, this upscale multi-family facility offers tenants immediate access to the city’s iconic landmarks, best restaurants and most memorable attractions.

Everything from our Wayne and Jade Sofas to our Remington Barstools and Bennett Chairs can be found throughout Upton Places’ lobbies, amenity rooms and public spaces. Custom Herman Banquettes and a sectional version of the Wescott Sofa lend an equal measure of style and comfort to these areas as well. Many of these pieces were also upholstered in our classic performance fabric, Noland, or Jamie Stern leathers including On The Double, Antiquity, Electra and Lickety Split.

Lastly, a number of Jamie Stern’s natural fiber area rugs can be found adorning the floors of Upton Place. Highlights include Racine and Ombre, both collaborations between Jamie Stern and Parisian designer Philippe David, as well as a few custom designs. Utilizing all natural fibers such as New Zealand wool and bamboo silk, these hand-tufted pieces are as sustainable as they are beautiful. This project was designed by the Maryland-based SK+I Architecture.
