Lizard

Jamie Stern’s Lizard features a naturalistic embossed animal pattern which is beautifully brought to life by a sophisticated two-tone coloration. Produced on sides (half hides), Lizard is embossed with maximum pressure, dwell and heat to ensure that the leather’s precise pattern is consistent and even throughout. After the print is applied, the sides are then finished with a semi-aniline topcoat that provides an even base coloration and protects the leathers from scratching, staining and fading in sunlight. After this initial coloring, each side receives a second hand-wiped coat of pigment to emphasize the pattern and create a gorgeous two-tone effect. This second coating can feature a touch of metallic finish to create a luxurious pearlescent sheen and ensure this leather catches the eye.
