Italian Ostrich

A long-standing favorite, Jamie Stern’s Italian Ostrich boasts a distinguished animal print that beautifully emulates the hides of the flightless bird from which this embossed leather draws its name. Produced on sides (half hides), Italian Ostrich is embossed with maximum pressure, dwell and heat to ensure that the leather’s precise pattern is consistent and even throughout. After the print is applied, the sides are then finished with a semi-aniline topcoat that lends the leather an even coloration and protects it from scratching, staining and fading in sunlight.

Produced exclusively in our New York finishing plant, Italian Ostrich’s classic pattern is paired with four equally enduring colorways to create a leather which is both widely applicable yet singular in appearance. Please inquire about custom color availability.
