Jamie Stern’s Envie is a highly decorative embossed leather featuring an ornate floral pattern and a subtle two-tone effect. Produced on sides (half hides), this article is embossed with maximum pressure, dwell and heat to ensure that the leather’s precise pattern is consistent and even throughout. After this print is applied, the sides are then colored with a protective semi-aniline finish before receiving a second hand-wiped topcoat to gently accentuate the design and provide a greater sense of depth. This artisanal finishing process ensures the leather will look beautiful and rich in any of its five standard colorways. Produced exclusively in our New York finishing plant, Envie is a leather that is sure to impress in any space or application.
