Damask

Jamie Stern’s Damask is a classic embossed leather inspired by the woven fabric of the same name. Produced on sides (half hides), this article is embossed with maximum pressure, dwell and heat to ensure that the leather’s precise pattern is consistent and even throughout. After this print is applied, the sides are then finished with a protective semi-aniline topcoat before receiving a second hand-tipped layer of pigment. This artisanal finishing process provides a sophisticated two-tone coloration and accentuates the embossed pattern, making for a truly unforgettable upholstery leather. Produced exclusively in our New York finishing plant, Damask is a leather that is sure to impress in subtle and bold colorways alike.
