Jamie Stern produced a wide variety of custom banquettes for the public areas of 1800 Oak, a luxury apartment building in Arlington, VA. These pieces range from large curved units fitting precisely along rounded walls to inset banquettes with upholstered wall panels for pre-existing niches. In order to achieve the specific curves and execute the accurate dimensions required for these pieces, the Jamie Stern team implemented extensive field measurements of the site and collaborated closely with the design team to ensure their vision was fully realized. This project was specified by the Washington DC-based Hartman Design Group.
